Metrosil is our range of silicon carbide based voltage dependant resistors and their applications make use of its non-linear properties to provide an 'electrical safety valve' for protecting equipment and insulation from the effects of over voltages. Metrosil is commonly used to protect field coils, contactor coils, relay coils and solenoids, current and voltage transformer protection and to improve the sensitivity and protection of High Impedance Relays.
Midel is a superb high performance transformer fluid which is extensively used in the energy market. Midel-filled transformers are favoured for many applications including Distribution, Power, Traction and Wind Turbine transformers.
Wolfmet is a high performance tungsten heavy alloy that provides excellent service in thousands of applications including Aerospace, Motor Racing and Nuclear Medicine.
